MRI Main Disconnect Panel provides emergency shutdown, overcurrent protection, OSHA Lock Out/Tag Out provision in an OSHPD Pre-approved stand-alone cabinet. The MDP also serves as a local disconnect for the Diagnostic Imaging System. The Main Disconnect Panel allows for an automatic reclosure after a power outage so the system can come back online without maintenance intervention. Available in multiple configurations to meet the needs of any X-Ray suite.
Emergency Power Off function does not trip a circuit breaker, as many alternative designs have the inherent problem of requiring a circuit breaker to be reset. We incorporate a contactor-based NO-TRIP function to remove power from the system when an EPO is pressed. Power will be restored when releasing the EPO. No Circuit Breaker needs to be reset.
Additionally, when MR imaging equipment loses power, a critical challenge is preserving the expensive helium and avoiding the time-consuming task of replacing it. Helium loss results in operational down time as well as exposes the equipment to significant damage. The Bevco Imaging solution supports UPS installations that will help avoid helium quenching. Additionally, True Auto Restart is a feature in the Bevco Engineering Main Disconnect Panel that immediately restores power to the imaging equipment without the need for technical support or facility intervention.
