The DC Room Lighting Control Panel is an accessory to the medical imaging suite. It converts incoming AC power to DC voltage and incorporates lighting control to the existing ambient lighting fixtures. Room Lighting Control is a standard application that allows the lighting fixtures to be dimmed in the patient area providing an improved, relaxed patient experdience.
Copper shielding is an integral part of your MR imaging suite as it protects equipment against RFI and EMI. Standard AC lighting can cause interference that leads to image distortion making DC-powered lighting a necessity. Our DC lighting controllers for MR suites provide reliable power sources for lighting inside the magnet room.
Available in three current ranges and with either single- or 3-phase incoming power, these standard controllers provide constant power levels at 110V DC; optional Variable Intensity models provide output from 30 to 115 volts. LED DC voltage ratings of 24, 36, or 48V are available to power LED luminaries from remotely-mounted DC lighting controllers. All models provide overcurrent protection for DC output power.
When ordering, simply specify the required AC voltage, 3-phase or 1-phase input, DC voltage, whether or not a variable output is required, and the total wattage of the intended lighting fixtures.
Custom MRI DC lighting controllers are also available, designed and built in-house to match your specific requirements.
